TGR was set up in
2002 by Danny Kelley (Ex-Telecoms Director and 15 years in the IT and Telecoms
field) and Caroline Vaughan (Ex-Blue chip head-hunter and 8 years in the
Recruitment field).
The reason that Danny and Caroline decided to move into the recruitment arena is that during his career at Genesys, Avaya, Alcatel and Siemens, he hired around 60 people and found that he had no faith in most of the Recruitment Agencies that he had to use. With a couple of exceptions, they did not seem to know the technicalities of the positions that Danny was looking for, nor did they try to understand his company’s business or even employ consultants who had hands on experience within the technical sector.
They discussed this lack of agencies
with both Technical and Recruitment know how, that didn't charge you the Earth, and they decided to create an
agency that employed people who had extensive experience in the areas that they
targeted. Our approach to finding A-class
candidates:
With Caroline’s Recruitment knowledge, they have been able to
merge their technical staff who are all from either IT, Telecoms or technical
Sales and Marketing backgrounds, into excellent technical recruitment
consultants, who in turn provide a consultative service to our Clients.
We aim to provide you with a proactive
rather than reactive recruitment process. Rather than just advertising your
position and waiting for the right CV to fall into our lap, we actively seek
out the perfect candidate
Of course our first port of call is to our extensive database of highly skilled candidates which we have cultivated.
Should we not be able to find the right
person there, we are firm believers in not waiting for the right candidates to
find us. As such we have undertaken contracts with some of the biggest Job and
CV boards in the UK,
including Monster, Jobsite, Jobserve and The Hotonline Group. This allows us to
proactively search for the right candidate for you whilst also allowing us
comprehensive advertising coverage. In this way we believe that we can find the
best and freshest talent out there.
Once we have identified the right
candidate, we then proceed to a rigorous selection process which includes an
initial telephone interview followed by a face to face interview. Should the
client wish, we can also submit a technical test in order to ascertain the
candidates’ suitability for the role.
The best terms on which we would
be able to help you:
We offer a 15% percent first placement
fee to any new clients which we take on, an offer which of course we would be
pleased to extend to you. Thereafter our standard terms as stated in our Terms
and Conditions are set at 20%.
